MR. SEGUN OLOKETUYI (CHAIRMAN)

Mr,Segun Oloketuyi, is a skilled banker with many years of banking and management experience, is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc. Prior to his appointment, he was an Executive director of Skye bank plc with responsibility for business development across lagos and South-West Directorates of the Bank.

A fellow of the institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria(ICAN), Mr.Oloketuyi has a second Class Upper Division degree in Chemistry from the university of Lagos. He has an MBA from the Lagos Business School and completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, fontainebleau, France. Mr. Oloketuyi attended various professional and leadership training programmes during the corse of his banking career.

He started out in 1985 as an auditor with the then Akintola williams and Co.(Chartered Accountants). In october 2005, Mr. Oloketuyi was appointed the Acting Managing Director of Bond Bank Plc during which time he steered the bank through a successful merger process with Skye Bank plc. Following the merger, he was appointed as Executive Director(Finance & Enterprise Risk Management)in january 2006. He also acted as the Post-merger Integration Coordinator, working with different integration teams and external consultants; following the merger of the different legacy banks that formed skye Bank Plc.

A 2007 recipient of the distinguished Alumni Merit Award of the university of Lagos, Mr.oloketuyi holds a membership to the Institute of Directors(IOD) and the Ikoyi Club. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and five lovely children.

MR. KOLAWOLE OGUNBAJO (MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO)

Mr. Kolawole Ogunbajo, born in Edinburgh, United Kingdom on the 26th of August, is the current Managing director/Chief Executive Ofiicer of AVIS NIGERIA.

Mr. Ogunbajo had his Nursery Education at lara day nursery and primary School, Ikeja,Lagos. He later proceeded to the famous Igbobi College for his Ordinary and Advanced level education. He pursued his tertiary education in the United Kingdom. He has a Higher National Diploma(HND) in Business & Finance from Hammersmith & West London College, a Bachelor of Art degree in Financial Economics and Masters of science Degree in Financial services Management both from London Guildhall University.

Mr. Ogunbajo's love for wealth creation and his enterpreneurial skill cannot be over emphasized. during his school days and working career, Mr. Ogunbajo has run various successful business ventures; one of which was KOS world Nigeria, which sold and distributed men's shirts, shoes and ties.

At the same time as running KOS World Nigeria, Mr. Ogunbajo started his career as a stockbroker in 1998, training with Tarus Asset Management where he demonstrated a high sense of purpose and determination, among other attributes; before moving to Prudent Bank in 2003 as Assistant Manager in charge of Retail Banking.

However in 2004, he left Prudent Bank to establish Turtles Car Rental Services Limited. A Company that later evolved to AVIS Nigeria through franchise. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and two lovely children.

DR. NOBLE ABE (DIRECTOR)

Dr. Noble Sodum Abe was born on the 6th of October, in Gokana local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. He completed his primary education at the Holy Trinity Primary school, Nchia Eleme and later transferred to Saint Peter's State School, Yegbe. He commenced his secondary education at the Birabi Memorial grammar School, Bori-Ogoni and later moved to Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Borikiri, Port Harcourt in 1972 where he finished and obtained the West African School Certificate in Grade One (1) in 1975. He had earlier passed his London G.C.E in his penultimate year in Secondary School.

Dr. Abe attended the Rivers State Colege of Science and Technology. Port Harcourt from 1975 to 1977 where he pursued his Advanced Levels. In 1979 he enrolled at University of Maiduguri, in Borno State, where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

Since the award of MBBS, Dr. Abe has benefitted from a wealth of experience in practise. He worked as a House Officer at the Muritala Mohammed Hospital, Kano from 1986 to1987 as a medical Officer at the General Hospital, Talata Mafara in Sokoto State from 1986- 1988. During that time, he served as Acting Principal Madical Officer at the General Hospital, Zuru, Kebbi State. etween 1988- 1990, Dr. Abe served as Medical Director, Mohammaddiya Hospital, Talata. In 1988-1990, he was Medical officer, Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto. In 1990- 1992, he moved to Souther Nigeria and became a Registrar in Community Medicine, University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital(UPTH) Port Harcourt. In 1992 after the death of his father, Dr.Abe resigned from the position of registrar and became General Manager of Melachi Smerphil Nigeria limited, where he served until 1993. He founded MacCanon Worldwide Services Limited in 1995 and went into private business.

In 1999, president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him a Member of the Presidential Committee on the now defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission(OMPADEC), which later became the Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC) in 2001. Dr.Abe has also served as consultant to International Hospital Group, International Managers of the National Hospital, Abuja.

Dr. Abe was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority in May 2004, a position he still holds. Within this role, he oversees the management of the Authority and promotes investments into Oil and Gas Free Zones in Nigeria.

He is the founding Chairman of the African Free Zones Association (AFZA). AFZA is a continental body that aims to help in entrenching best practices in investment in the African continent, a position he still holds. He is also the Godwill Ambassador of the World Free Zone Convention for the West African Region, the first Nigerian to be so honoured.

Dr. Abe is both a member as well as fellow of several bodies and Associations and he is a recipient of several awards. His hobbies include golf, tennis and swimming. He is married to Mrs. Eva Abe and they are blessed with many children.

OLUSEUN O.AJAYI

Mr. Ajayi is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He has attended several technical and management development courses both locally and overseas, amongst which were a one-year insurance management programme at the London School of Insurance and a management development course at IESE in Spain. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School having successfully completed their Chief Executive programme.

Mr. Oluseun O. Ajayi was the founding Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign Trust Insurance PLC, a position he held since January 1995 when the company commenced operations. Mr.Ajayi now serves as Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc's Executive Vice Chairman.

Mr. Ajayi is an astute professional who has devoted his entire working life to the practice of Insurance. He has over 27 years working experience out of which 11 years were spent at NICON Insurance Corporation(1980-1981). He has been a member of several management committees and was actively involved in the design and packaging of specialized insurance product for the corporation's various client.

In 1992, Mr. Ajayi moved to Capital International Standard Insurers Limited as Senior Manager in charge of General Insurance Operations. In this role, he was directly responsible for the company's underwriting, reinsurance and claims functions. Apart from being a member of the team that set up the company, he was also a member of the company's management council and also the chairman of several Management committees.

In August 1994, he resigned from the International Standard Insurance Limited as the Deputy General Manager in charge of both non-life and branch operations to setup Sovereign Trust Insurance Co. Ltd.

Under his leadership, Soveriegn Trust has recorded tremendous growth. Gross Premium rating rose from N40 million in 1995, to N951 million in 2004. The company's paid up shared capital, which was N20 million in 1995, rose to N431 million in 2004. profit before Tax also rose from N0.722 million in 1995 to N133 million in 2004 while total net assets which were N47 million in 1995 rose to N656 million in 2004. The total number of staff also grew from 42 in 1995 to 141 in 2004. All these achievements has placed Sovereign Trusr as one of the leading companies in the insurance industry in Nigeria.

Mr. Ajayi is a director of several companies, among which are Citicorp Financial Services Limited, Orion Shipping Company Limited, Stargate Communications Limited and Vertigo Frames Limited. He is also the Chairman of Sovereign Investments Limited. He is a member of Ikoyi Club and Lagos Polo Club and is happily married with children. He enjoys lecturing and has delivered several papers on insurance and management related topics.

KUNLE ADEDIGBA

Mr. Adekunle Demola Adedigba attended University of Lagos for his first degree. He proceeded to lagos Business School where he completed his MBA and afterwards to the London Business School where he attended their Senior Management Programme(SMP).

Mr. Adedigba is a former General Manager(Group Head, Organizational Capability Group(OCG)) of Skye Bank Nigeria Plc, he served earlier as an assistant General Manager and Deputy Manager.

Mr. Adedigba is a fellow chartered accountant with a professional background in banking and auditing, spanning twenty years. He started as an audit trainee in Z.O Osansanya & Company from 1992 to 1994 and proceeded to Coopers & Hybrid Nigeria, where he worked as a Supervisor in the Audit and Business assurance unit.

He was a senior associate and consultant(Financial Services Induxtry Practice) at Price Water House Coopers, Nigeria, from 1998 to August 1999. Mr. Adedigba then proceeded to Standard Trust Bank Limited, serving as an Assistant Manager, before proceeding to Prudent Bank Plc, to serve as a Deputy Manager rising through the rank to become a General Manager. He is married and blessed with two children.
